PRO EXTOUR research team gathered online to launch a study on the country- and-region-specific needs for the development of heritage and culture- based experiential tourism in the Black Sea Basin.
The new trend of experiential tourism refers to those forms of travelling in which people focus on experiencing a country, city or particular place by connecting to its history, people and culture and participate actively in the experience-creation process. However, the pandemic challenge will affect this tend irreversibly. We need to analyse well the consequences for the Black Sea area.
VUM’s team is always ready to experiment with innovative themes in both studies and research.
PRO EXTOUR stands for “Promoting Heritage- and Culture-based Experiential Tourism in the Black Sea Basin”.
Culinary Arts and Hospitality Association is part of the project together with the Varna University of Management (VUM) - lead partner, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Georgian Arts&Culture Center (Georgia) and Yerevan State University (Armenia)!
